- Data gaps were remediated: doubtful parcels were supplemented with updated satellite imagery and supplier legality documents.
- A complete Due Diligence Statement (DDS) package was prepared: risk assessment, mitigation measures, mass-balance documentation.
- The DDS was submitted via the EU TRACES system and a reference number was obtained within 48 hours.
- Results were integrated with the internal traceability system to automate future submissions.
Outcome:
- The shipment was released prior to demurrage deadlines.
- The operator was classified as low-risk in subsequent clearances, reducing processing time.
- Market credibility improved, accelerating commercial contract finalisation.
